It’s a secret garden, a garden of pristine beauty away from the crowds, and yet an easy walk from many cafes, restaurants, and beaches. The Secret Jungle Villa is a unique rental home in Bali. Built in the traditional Joglo style, the villa uses local materials – coconut wood, teak wood, and bamboo to a wonderful effect. The house represents elegance and tranquility with a traditional touch. It is located at the end of a quiet lane and is surrounded by paddy fields and tall trees. But just a few minutes of walking will bring you to Berawa Beach and Seminyak Beach. If you stay here, you can holiday in a central location, close to many top attractions, but still enjoy a peaceful vacation and tranquility.
The home is thoroughly traditional in every way. The villa owner has however introduced many modern amenities to ensure that the guests can enjoy a luxurious stay. Many original designs and architecture of Bali have been retained. This balance between modern times and traditions makes Secret Jungle Villa a special property. Its central location is also a huge draw – a key attraction for many tourists.
Secret Jungle Villa is a two-story house with a rich traditional design. It has 2 bedrooms for 4 guests. Both the floors have one bedroom each and they both have large double beds. These four-poster beds have mosquito nets, high-quality mattresses, and extra pillows. You will find large wardrobes, sofas, televisions, and bedside tables. The rooms have wooden flooring and Bali’s traditional alang-alang roofing.
The second-floor bedroom has a special Spider net balcony. There are two bathrooms – one on each floor. They have huge mirrors, his/her sinks, and showers. Their walls depict the color of the soil, connecting the house to its surroundings.
Secret Jungle Villa is part of an estate that has 10 luxury homes, each similar in design. Each house has its own personal compound, which you will reach after passing through an impressive gate. There is a small plunge pool and a garden with some banana trees and other plants. A wooden deck follows the pool and it then leads to the main house.
The deck has a hammock and a sofa for you to relax and enjoy the villa’s outdoor space. The upper-floor balcony also offers fabulous views of the entire neighborhood.
The living room is just after the pool deck. It’s an artistic space with a chic sofa. The furnishings are made of coconut and teak wood, providing the house with a unique design. Bali’s own alang-alang roof construction adds a traditional touch to an otherwise modern setup.
The kitchen is located on the other side of the house. It has a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and an electric kettle for basic cooking. The formal dining table for 4 guests is located between the kitchen and the living room. This space offers a nice transition between the interior and the outdoors. You will also find a small breakfast table in the kitchen with two stools.
The house has a flat-screen television with many channels. There is a strong internet connection and a work desk, so you can complete urgent work. The bathrooms have towels, free toiletries, hair dryers, and slippers. For a charge, you can ask for an in-villa massage and laundry service. You can also ask for a professional chef if you don’t want to cook. Approach the villa manager for scooter and car rentals.
This unique family-friendly home is in the Canggu neighborhood of Bali. You can walk down to Berawa Beach in only 10 minutes. Canggu Beach is another 5-minute walk from Berawa. Those who want to eat and drink outside will find many options. Atlas Club and Finns Beach Club are both nearby.
